This funky abstract painting was inspired by my love of Australian Aboriginal dot painting. With this piece, I wanted to create an environment that had many layers comprised of varying colors and shapes. This painting reminds me of two things: one is an underwater scene of various marine life and bubbles, and the other is an inside look at the body on a cellular level. Either way this painting has a very aqueous feel, in which everything seems to be floating around and intermingling with everything else. The 1.5" sides are painted black, making this painting ready to hang without a frame!
