This is a painting that I first started in 2002. Last week I decided to do some final touch-ups and put it up for sale! This painting depicts a mysterious old man in front of a crimson/maroon background. He stands behind a grandfather clock which has a rose in the center. This painting deals with the mysteries of time, aging, and the unknown. The piece emits an aura of timelessness and antiquity. The sides are painted to match the burnt yellow-orange border, so this painting is ready to hang without a frame.
