Hello Earthlings and Space Creatures!
If you are a regular follower of this blog, you may have been wondering where the heck I've been lately and why I haven't been displaying new art as prolifically as I have been in recent years. Well I'll tell you why! I've spent the past few months immersed in my new art project, a website called Art is Fun! The site has recently gone live and I am spending every ounce of my creative energy working on the site, producing the new content, and making it all spiffy. It is no secret that I LOVE art and I know many of you do too (otherwise you would probably not be reading this!). Therefore it is my greatest pleasure to squeeze myself like a sponge and let all the art knowledge soak into the pages of Art is Fun, hoping that it will inspire, aid, and ignite everyone's creative fire!
So if you:
a.) Want to learn more about art
b.) Like my art
Then you'll enjoy my new website, www.art-is-fun.com!
This website is my truly a labor of love. It's a way for me to share all the art knowledge whirling around in my head. From tips and techniques on painting and drawing to factual background about different art styles and subjects, Art is fun is an ongoing pool of information for artists, art students, and art enthusiasts.
Writing the site is an organic process, as the topics unravel and unfold in different directions. There is only so much time in a day, only so fast that my fingers can type, only so long I can spend at the computer before my brain starts blipping in funny ways… so the site is growing piece by piece, step by step. I ultimately envision hundreds and hundreds of pages on this site, and I can't wait to write them all! I love writing about art as much as I love making art. And I love being able to share all my art knowledge with everyone around the world. I've spent the past several years creating art i n t e n s i v e l y, and I've picked up so many tips and techniques that they are spilling out of my brain left and right. Thank goodness I've got a new website to scoop it all up!
If you have any comments on the site, I'd love to hear from you. I'm especially interested in hearing about topics people would like to see covered or explained on the site. I'm open to all art-related suggestions! Just send me a message here or via the site.

Here are some things you will find on the site:
I've recently finished a 15-page article about How to Paint Photorealism: A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Paint Your Own Photorealistic Paintings. This guide is for the more advanced artists, but contains loads of helpful tips that will be useful for beginners as well.
If you like my abstract art, I've included an easy tutorial on how to create your own funky abstract paintings!
Anyway, climb aboard, check out the site, and let me know what you think!

Hi Thaneeya, I've stumbled upon your inspiring art once again and I had to tell you how much I love it, especially your diverse styles and your bold use of color!!
I also found your NEW "art is fun!" site, which is truly fabulous and I'm looking forward to spending lots more quality time there in the very near future.
I've also singed up for Artspeak newsletter which I'm looking forward to receiving.
I love that you sell your art on t-shirts, mugs, etc. We should surround ourselves with as much art as possible. It's not just for hanging above your sofa! You've truly inspired me to open my own Cafe Press and Zazzle shops.
Thanks, Rachelle! Glad you like the Art is fun site and I'm even more glad that you've found my art/merch inspiring! Go for it!!
