This postcard-sized painting depicts the view from our house in France, to the northwest ("nord-ouest") overlooking the distant mountains. We live on top of a hill, surrounded by acres of farmland and nature park. The clouds are amazing - every day there are new and interesting formations. You can see the texture of the paint and the brushstrokes in the close-ups provided below.
