This funky painting evolved from a delightful thrift store find. I was irresistably drawn to this velvet Rottweiler painting, and the myriad possibilities it held. The "before" picture is posted above. Using acrylics, I surrounded the pooch with dozens of colorful flowers, and decked him out in a trendy retro style with a red afro, yellow star sunglasses, and a gold chain with a peace sign pendant. His moon boot platforms are painted with a metallic silver paint. The outer edge of the frame is painted with a groovy metallic blue. This fun, funky painting is ready to hang!
